Admin Beginner's Guide – Essential Commands, Binds & More Welcome to your admin journey on the server. This guide will help you understand the most important commands, binds, and key aspects you need to know as a new admin without prior experience in AMXX. 1.Aplication For Admin + Setinfo Step 1: Becoming an Admin Your journey begins by applying for an admin position on our forum, where we offer an Admin Campaign with no requirements for hours or experience. Approval Process: After some time, a higher-ranked admin (such as a Project Leader or Founder) will review your application. Helper Rank: If accepted, you will be granted the Helper role, which gives you access to admin commands while still being considered a regular player. Step 2: Setting Up Your Admin Access Once you are accepted, the admin who approved you will contact you via private message. You will be asked to provide: Your in-game nickname Your password for server authentication This information is necessary to add you to the server's database as an admin. Step 3: Logging Into the Server To enter the server with admin privileges, you must use a special command in the game console before joining: Without this command, you will not be able to access the server as an admin. 2.AMXX Admin Commands Guide How to Start a Vote Using amx_votemapmenu The amx_votemapmenu command allows you to start a map vote when necessary. It's useful for warning campers, rushers, or players ignoring admin instructions. ╭──────────✧👋✧──────────╮ 📜 How to Use amx_slap ╰──────────✧👋✧──────────╯ ➊ Open the game console and type: 💬 📌 Example: 💬 ᴀᴍx_sʟᴀᴘ "Camper123" "5" ⚡ This will slap "Camper123," dealing 5 HP damage and pushing them. ╭──────────✧⚠️✧──────────╮ 📜 Rules for Using Slap ╰──────────✧⚠️✧──────────╯ ✅ Use when a player is: ✔️ Slightly camping (a soft warning). ✔️ Ignoring minor rules (before using slay/gag). ✔️ Not responding to admin instructions. ❌ Do NOT use slap: 🚫 To kill a player (use slay instead). 🚫 Repeatedly for no reason. 🚫 On other admins. 💡 Tip: Use slap before slay as a gentle warning to move or follow the rules! ----------------------------------------- How to Change a Player's Name Using AMXX The amx_nick command allows you to rename a player if their nickname: 🔴 Has less than 3 characters (too short). 🔴 Contains another server’s name (advertising). 🔴 Has vulgar/offensive words (not allowed). 🔴 Contains special characters that make it hard to rename. ╭──────────✧📝✧──────────╮ 📜 How to Use amx_nick ╰──────────✧📝✧──────────╯ ➊ Open the game console and type: 💬 📌 Example: 💬 ᴀᴍx_ɴɪᴄᴋ "Xx" "Player123" ✏️ This will rename "Xx" to "Player123" because the name was too short. 📌 Example (Server Name in Nick): 💬 ᴀᴍx_ɴɪᴄᴋ "BestServer.pl" "RenamedPlayer" ✏️ This will remove another server's name from the player's nickname. ╭──────────✧🔍✧──────────╮ ❗ Player Has Special Characters ❗ ╰──────────✧🔍✧──────────╯ 📌 If a player's nickname has special characters (e.g. symbols, invisible letters), amx_nick might not work properly. ✅ To identify the correct player, use: 💬 🖥️ This command will show all players with their nicknames, Steam IDs, and IPs so you can rename the right person. 🔹 After finding the correct player, use: 💬 ╭──────────✧⚠️✧──────────╮ 📜 Rules for Using amx_nick ╰──────────✧⚠️✧──────────╯ ✅ Use when a player’s nickname is: ✔️ Too short (less than 3 characters). ✔️ Advertising another server. ✔️ Offensive, vulgar, or inappropriate. ✔️ Full of special characters making it hard to identify. ❌ Do NOT use amx_nick: 🚫 To troll or rename players for fun. 🚫 On other admins. 💡 Tip: If a player keeps changing to an inappropriate name, consider using gag or kick for repeated violations! ----------------------------------------- How to Ban a Player Using AMXX (Only For Rank Above Helper!!!) Banning a player is a serious action and should only be used when necessary. Always use Steam ID to prevent players from bypassing the ban. ----------------------------------------- How to Kick a Player Using AMXX Kicking a player is a temporary action to remove them from the server without banning. It is useful when a player is breaking minor rules, ignoring admin warnings, or causing disruptions. ╭──────────✧🚪✧──────────╮ 📜 How to Use amx_kick ╰──────────✧🚪✧──────────╯ ➊ Open the game console and type: 💬 📌 Example: 💬 ᴀᴍx_ᴋɪᴄᴋ "ToxicPlayer" "Disrespect" ⛔ This removes "ToxicPlayer" from the server for disrespect. ╭──────────✧⚠️✧──────────╮ 📜 Rules for Kicking ╰──────────✧⚠️✧──────────╯ ✅ Use kick when a player is: ✔️ Ignoring admin warnings. ✔️ AFK for too long. ✔️ Spamming chat or mic. ✔️ Using an inappropriate name (after warning). ❌ Do NOT use kick: 🚫 On admins. 🚫 Without a valid reason. 🚫 Instead of banning when a ban is needed. 💡 Tip: Before kicking, always give a warning! If a player continues breaking rules after a kick, consider a gag, slap, or ban if needed. 3.Admin Binds Guide 📌 Binds make your admin duties easier! Below are some important binds you should set up. 🎤 Admin Chat Bind 💬 Use this to talk with other admins in private chat. 🔹 Command: bind "i" "messagemode amx_chat" ✦ Press "I" to open the admin chat. ⚡ Lag Fix Bind 🚀 Use this only when needed! Overuse can affect gameplay. 🔹 Command: bind "z" "amx_unlag 1" ✦ Press "Z" to reduce lag on the server. 🔴 Important CSAY Messages 📢 CSAY messages appear in the center of the screen for all players. 🔹 Login Reminder: bind "c" "amx_csay red Press >M< Log in" ✦ Press "C" to remind players to log in. 🔹 Welcome Message: bind "v" "amx_csay red Welcome All New Players" ✦ Press "V" to greet new players. 🏁 Last Map Vote Announcement 📣 Use this to notify players when the final map vote is happening. 🔹 Command: bind "alt" "say@ Last!" ✦ Press "ALT" to announce the last map vote! 🔥 Tip: To set a bind, open your console (~ key) and paste the command! 🚀 3.Admin Rules & Responsibilities! 1️⃣ Admin Position & Obligations You start as a Helper, which means you are still treated like a normal player but have access to certain commands. 🚫 You cannot use ban commands and cannot give orders to higher-ranking admins. ✅ Helpers must obey higher-ranking admins. 2️⃣ Insults & Punishments Minor insults ➝ 🗣️ 5-minute GAG Server insults ➝ 🚫 10-minute GAG / 120-minute BAN Severe insults (family-related, extreme offenses) ➝ ❌ PERMANENT BAN 💰 Begging for items or privileges: First offense ➝ 1-3 minute GAG Repeated begging ➝ 15-minute BAN 3️⃣ Advertising 🚫 Advertising any forum or server ➝ PERMANENT BAN 4️⃣ Nickname Rules Your nickname must contain at least 3 characters. 🛑 If a player has an invalid nickname: First, ask them to change it. If they refuse, use the command: amx_nick "old_nickname" "new_nickname" If they still don’t comply ➝ Kick the player. 5️⃣ U@ Abuse The U@ chat is only for reporting cheaters. If a player spams reports 3 times, it counts as abuse. Punishment ➝ 10-minute BAN 6️⃣ Admin Presence & Responsibilities If 3 or more admins are online, one must go into spectator mode to monitor for cheaters. 🔄 Take turns (e.g., one admin stays in spec for 10 minutes, then switches with another). 7️⃣ Admin Commands on Other Admins 🚫 Admins are NOT allowed to use commands on each other unless: It is done by a Co-Owner or higher with a valid reason. Breaking this rule = 3-day suspension or removal. 8️⃣ Handling Abusive Admins If you see an admin banning players without reason, you must report them. Helpers can only kick them but must provide evidence. 9️⃣ Game Configuration Rules The default config limit is 250-300 lines. If exceeded: First warning ➝ Admin asks the player to delete unnecessary config. Failure to comply ➝ 10-minute BAN 🔟 Texture Exploits Climbing on map textures is not allowed. First offense ➝ ❌ Slay Second offense ➝ 🚫 10-minute BAN for “texture abuse” 1️⃣1️⃣ Forum Activity All admins must be active on the forum. Required actions: ✅ Respond to requests with PRO / CONTRA + arguments. ✅ Maintain a BAN LIST for permanent bans. 1️⃣2️⃣ Server Exclusivity If you are an admin on another server, your rank here will be removed. ❌ We expect you to be active only on our server. 1️⃣3️⃣ Absences If you are absent for more than 3 days, you must submit an absence request. 1️⃣4️⃣ Complaints Against You If a complaint is made against you, you have 24 hours to respond. 🚫 Failure to respond = Immediate removal. 1️⃣5️⃣ AFK Players Admins are not allowed to kick AFK players. ✅ Final Notes Follow all these rules to maintain a fair and fun environment for players. Abuse of admin privileges will lead to suspension or removal.
